Reservations
By placing your reservation on this website and using our Online Reservation Service, you indicate that you have read, understand, and agree with our Reservation and Cancellation Policies.
Final booking confirmation for electronic tickets and paper tickets will be issued 45 days or less prior to your departure date. Orders made more than 45 days before the departure date will be placed in our ticket queue. Your tickets will be issued and sent to you by email or post, depending on electronic or paper ticket type, as soon as we have assigned seats in your name, which can be done 45 days or less prior to your departure date.
We reserve the right to request a written or oral authorization of your purchase. In the event such authorization has been requested and you fail to provide it, we reserve the right to cancel your tickets.
Unless we inform you otherwise, all ticket orders will be issued according to your instructions. Tickets may be booked even if you fail to provide additional information that we requested from you and will remain booked unless we have informed you in writing about canceling them.
Cancellations and refunds
Cut-off date for cancellations is 3 days before the departure date on the ticket. All cancellation requests must be submitted to info@russiantrains.com prior to the train departure. If you return your ticket at the train station, you must submit a request for a refund within 10 business days after returning your ticket.
No refunds will be issued for missed trains. If you have missed your train, you may be able to recover a portion of your funds by returning your ticket at the train station booth and then submitting a written request to info@russiantrains.com for a refund.
In all circumstances there will be a cancellation fee of 30% of the total ticket price.
Paper tickets can only be canceled at a railway station and only with your passport.
Ticket modifications
Only electronic tickets can be modified. They can be modified up to 3 days prior to the departure date on a ticket. In all circumstances there will be a modification fee of $40 of the ticket. If you need to modify your ticket less than 3 days prior to your departure date, please return your tickets at the train station and purchase new ones. You can then request a refund of 70% of the cost of the original ticket by submitting a written request to info@russiantrains.com. You must submit your request within 10 days after the departure date on your ticket.
Paper tickets can only be canceled at a railway station and only with your passport.
Discounts
Some rail operators offer discounts for children and/or senior citizens. If such discounts are available, we will issue a refund to your original purchase within 14 days. You should contact us to inquire about the availability of discounts and to request a refund. Please note that we are not responsible for issuing discounts and the provision of such remains in our sole discretion.
LIMITS ON RESPONSIBILITY
TRAVELALLRUSSIA IS A TRAVEL AGENCY THAT MAKES TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS FOR ITS CLIENTS. WE DO NOT OWN OR OPERATE ANY HOTELS, PLANES, TRAINS, SHIPS, OR CARS. TRAVELALLRUSSIA CONDUCTS BUSINESS UNDER SEVERAL NAMES, INCLUDING TRAVELALLRUSSIA, ALL RUSSIA CRUISES, GOLDENRING CRUISES, RUSSIANTRAINS.COM, AND RUSSIANHOTELS.COM. ALL OF THESE SERVICES ARE SUBJECT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET HEREIN.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay, or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA is not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellation costs due to incorrect, incomplete, or expired travel documents.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to make alterations to tour itineraries and to substitute hotels, vehicles, ships, or activities if this is required. TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour prior to departure, and, so long as this is not due to any of the aforesaid causes beyond our control, the passenger shall be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to that point if he/she so desires, less any non-refundable deposits or uncollectible expenses incurred. Customers specifically release TRAVELALLRUSSIA from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property or from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, arising out of the acts, omissions, or negligence of any independent contractors, such as air carriers, hotels, shore excursion operators, restaurateurs, transportation providers, medical personnel or other providers of services or facilities. All arrangements made for tour participants with independent contractors, including medical services, are made solely for convenience to participants and are done at the participant's own risk. TRAVELALLRUSSIA specifically disclaims all liability for damages for emotional distress, mental suffering or psychological injury of any kind, except to the extent prohibited by 46 U.S.C. §183c(b).
Russiantrains.com does not own or operate any of railways stations or trains. We act solely as an agent with respect to arranging transportation and, therefore, you specifically release us and any of our employees, officers, directors, successors, agents and assigns from all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property, from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, from cancellations, delays, or changes in service arising from acts, omissions, or negligence by railway operators or any forces beyond our control, including, but not limited to sickness, weather, strikes, war, civil disturbances, acts or threats of terrorism, travel warnings or bans, and acts of God.
It is your responsibility to become acquainted and comply with the rules of railway operators, carriage classes, seating, and bedding options.
We are not responsible for any missed trains, incorrect, incomplete, or expired travel documents, or your failure to present a valid booking confirmation at the train station. We are not responsible for any additional service fees including but not limited to luggage fees.
TRAVEL ADVISORIES/WARNINGS
It is the responsibility of The Traveler to become informed about the most current travel advisories and warnings by referring to the U. S. State Department's travel website at www.travel.state.gov or by phone at 1-888-407- 4747. In the event of an active State Department Travel Warning against travel to the specific destination location(s) of the trip, should The Traveler still choose to travel, notwithstanding any travel advisory or warning, The Traveler assumes all risk of personal injury, death or property damage that may arise out of the events like those advised or warned against.
ARBITRATION AGREEMENT
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms and Conditions, to the Responsibility Clause, to the Itinerary, or any information relating in any way to the trip, or to the trip itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in State of Virginia, US, in accordance with the rules of the Arbitration Association then existent.
TRAVELER'S REPRESENTATIONS
The Traveler represents that neither he nor she nor anyone traveling with him or her has any physical or other condition or disability that could create a hazard to himself or herself or other members of the tour. TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to decline to accept anyone on a trip. TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to remove from the trip, at his or her sole expense, anyone whose condition is such that he or she could create a hazard to himself or others, or otherwise impact the enjoyment of other passengers on the trip.
ACTS OF GOD, STRIKE, OR OTHER
Neither TRAVELALLRUSSIA nor its partners shall be liable for delay or inability to perform any condition in Itinerary caused by or arising out of strikes, lockout or labor difficulties or shortages whether or not the Carrier is party thereto, or explosion, fire, collision, standing or foundering of the vessel or breakdown or failure of or damage to the vessel or its hull or machinery or fittings howsoever and wheresoever any or the same may arise or be caused, or civil commotion, riot, insurrection, war, government restraint, requisitioning of the vessel, political disturbance, acts or threats of terrorism, inability to secure or failure of supplies including fuel, Acts of God, or other circumstances beyond their control.
AIR TRANSPORTATION
TRAVELALLRUSSIA has no responsibility for any changes in travel plans caused by airline delays and will not accept any responsibility for mistakes or errors in airfare bookings made by independent third parties. It is up to the traveler to ensure the correct arrival and departure flight information from the tour start and end cities as well as a correct spelling of his/her name.
Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. These programs may use the services of any IATA carrier. International air carriers are subject to international air conventions limiting their liability. The limitations of liability are contained on the reverse side of the airline ticket and form part of the terms and conditions of this package. The passage contract in use by these companies, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the companies and the purchaser of these travel programs and/or passage.
ITINERARIES, CHANGES, PRICE INCREASES
TRAVELALLRUSSIA agrees to provide all of the services listed in your travel itinerary, except for the optional services that may be listed in the itinerary. TRAVELALLRUSSIA is not responsible for excess baggage charges, drinks, beverages, meals and any other additional costs to the customer that are not listed in the itinerary.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA shall not be required to refund any amount paid by any tour participant who must leave the tour prematurely for any reason, nor shall TRAVELALLRUSSIA or its affiliated or partners be responsible for the lodging, meals, return transportation or other expenses incurred by such tour participant.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA also reserves the right to withdraw a tour or any part of it to make such alterations in the itinerary or with the tour inclusions as it deems necessary or desirable and to pass on to tour members any expenditures or losses caused by delays or events beyond its control.
Prices are based on current rates of exchange and TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to increase prices of its tours and cruises to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. If the currency rate between US dollar and Euro moves by 7.5% or more from the day of quotation to the day of receipt of a booking request then TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserved the right to re-quote the service, if it deems it necessary or desirable.
In case of Trans-Siberian tours booked more than 45 days prior to the departure date, TRAVELALLRUSSIA reserves the right to adjust the price if the train transportation provider increases the price of the ticket(s) included in the itinerary by more than 5% in comparison to the original price. The original ticket price is defined as the price of the train ticket at the moment when the original quote for the tour was offered to the customer.
TRAVELALLRUSSIA is not responsible for omissions in the itinerary, printing and/or presentation errors and reserves the right to make corrections as required.
CLAIMS AND REFUNDS
For canceled tickets, refunds will only be made only after we have confirmed any fines or penalties to be applied to your reservation. There will be no refunds for missed services, except for verifiable extenuating circumstances. For verifiable claims to be considered, they must be received in writing within 30 days of the day of departure on the ticket and should be accompanied by supporting documentation.
PURCHASE OF TICKETS CONSTITUTES YOUR UNDERSTANDING AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET OUT HEREIN.
